Available Dogs
Below are just a few of the Siberians in our program who are looking for loving homes. Not all of the dogs make it onto the site because they are matched before that. Squid
Squid
Woof! Hey there, my name is Squid!
The nice humans at the shelter tell me I'm about a year and two months old, which means I'm basically a super playful puppy in a grown-up dog's body! They say I'm a mix of a German Shepherd and a Siberian Husky, and trust me, I've got the best of both worlds - smarts, fluffiness, and a whole lot of happy wiggles! My fur is this awesome creamy white and cinnamon color, which I think makes me look pretty handsome, if I do say so myself.
It feels like ages since I've been here at the shelter...since March 10, 2025, to be exact! I've been waiting patiently for my forever family to find me. If you want to watch me playing with humans and dog pals, watch my video! You can even see some of the commands I have learned.
Oh, and let me tell you, I LOVE people! And other dogs too! I'm super friendly and always up for a good time. The humans here say I'm really good at learning new things, especially when there are tasty treats involved! I've already aced all my basic commands, so I'm practically a genius, right? I'm just bursting with joy and excitement, and I'm ready to bring all that happiness straight into your life.
My vet has made sure I'm all healthy, up-to-date on my shots, and even got me microchipped so I'll always find my way back to you. I'm also already neutered, so no worries there!
So, what do you say? Are you ready for some Squid-sized love and adventure? I promise, I'm the good boy you've been waiting for!

Zues and Luna
Zues (M) and Luna (F) are a 1 year old bonded pair (they are siblings) who are now living at the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts (Brockton, MA). They are rambunctious young dogs that need training and boundaries in life. They do love to yowl and talk and sing their Husky song to the world! They are great with people and seem to do well with other dogs besides being a bit much in play. The shelter believes they can be placed individually.
***PSHR does not have Zues and Luna. If interested, please reach out to APCSM 508-586-2053 www.apcsm.org***
ACE
Looking for your Ace in the deck? 🎴
Meet Ace – a young, spirited husky with a heart full of potential and a past that’s still a bit of a mystery. The name fits him perfectly – because having Ace in your hand could be just the advantage you need in life.
While Ace isn’t quite sure what “Adverse Childhood Experiences” are, the kind folks here think he’s had a rough start. He was likely neglected, which may explain why he kept trying to run away. But now he’s safe, neutered, vaccinated, and ready to start fresh – he just needs someone to show him the ropes.
Ace is still learning the basics. He’s eager to run and play with other dogs, but he’s unsure how to do it the right way. He shouldn’t be around cats or small dogs, but with the right canine companions, he may thrive in a structured environment. He’s practicing his “wait” before heading outside, and he’s making progress!
He can be unsure around new people at first, but once he warms up, his playful, goofy side shines through. One thing to note: Ace is sensitive around his neck, so leash handling needs to be done with care and patience.
Ace would do best with an experienced husky owner who can offer him guidance, consistency, and lots of love. With the right leadership, this boy has so much potential to grow and thrive.
✨ Are you ready to put Ace in your hand – and your heart? ✨

Sparrow
My name is Sparrow and I am a good boy that would love a home with another dog. I has been at the shelter for a long time so I will need a home that is patient until I can trust and gain confidence. I would like a calm and stable enviorment that doesn't have a lot of visitors since I am not really sure what to make of new people. I have a lot of energy and will need a lot of excersise but, don't all huskies? I even have my own Instagram if you want to see what I am up to. It is @Sparrowthewhitehusky.
**Potential adopters should have experience with reactive dogs and a bonus would be to work with a trainer.**
**PSHR does not have Sparrow so please direct all inquiries to Cranston Animal Shelter**
Storm
Storm is an incredibly loving and sweet husky. Storm would be happiest with a semi active family that can take her for one long walk a day. She loves lounging around and is affectionatly known as a couch potato. Storm loves everyone she meets and adores children. Given Storms age, she would likely do best with children over 5 years old. Storm is deaf but does know some hand signals.
Storm is currently being fostered by MUSH

Domino
Meet Domino: The Game-Changer You Need in Your Life! 🐾
Just like a set of dominoes, I’m ready to fall head over paws for my forever family! 🎲 With my playful spirit, I’ve been knocking down hearts in my foster home, and now it’s your turn to see if we’re the perfect match.
First, let's talk chicken nuggets—they were so good! I still dream about those crispy, delicious bites. But what I’m really craving is my forever home. My foster sisters (two Frenchies) have shown me the art of sun-napping, window-watching, and protecting the house by barking at the wind. I’m even teaching them to howl! They’re slow learners, but I’m a patient coach.
My ideal home? A big yard where I can roam, sniff every inch, and maybe sit stubbornly in the middle when I’m not ready to go inside. I’ve got high standards (my foster mom says “high maintenance,” but I just know what I deserve!).
In true Husky fashion, I am chatty. If I want to go out or dinner is late, I will let you know. I also get chatty when I play with other animals. I love when humans talk to me using their best Husky howl too.
I would love to be the only dog but, if I am going to a home with other dogs, I will need a friend that will play with me. I don't do well with aggression, possiveness or dominance. I just want to be an equal part of a pack where I am not getting bossed around by others.
I have been through a lot of changes in a short amount of time and need a place that can offer a soft landing and can be patient with me while I settle in. Once I am settled in, my love and loyalty are boundless. I can be a reactive so I will need a adopter that has experience with reactive dogs.
Here’s what I bring to the table:
- ❤️ Tons of love and loyalty.
- 🌦 A love for being outside, especially in the rain!
- 🐷 A deep bond with my squeaky pig toy.
- 🛁 Protective shower guard duties—I'll sit by the tub to keep you safe.
- 🐕 Social skills—I’ve lived with cats, kids, and dogs. But would prefer no small children and no small dogs.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side like the last domino in a winning chain, I’m your guy. Let’s make some lasting memories, filled with naps, snuggles, belly rubs, and walks.
Are you ready to play the game of love? Because I’m all in. 🐶

Kyra (Kai-rah)
✨️Introducing Kyra✨️ (Pronounced like Kai-rah) Kyra was an owner surrender to no fault of her own, just being her true breed self. She is a fullbred Siberian Husky, spayed female, 1.5 year old. She is also rabies vaccinated and negative for any diseases and will need to get UTD of her remaining vaccines. She lived with a full family of husband and wife with two kids. Kyra also lived with 2 cats, but is no longer good with them given her time at the shelter. She is a bit nervous when meeting new people, but you have some really tasty treats and take her for a walk, she will warm up to you quickly. Like any husky, Kyra loves to run, play, and explore all the things. She is a Spanish speaking dog, knowing spanish (& spanlish) commands, and is learning English commands while she is with Glastonbury Animal Control. Kyra has shown amazing patience with kids and does not like to be locked away from her people. She doesn't like being told what to do (normal husky behavior), but if you make it seem like it's her idea, she'll listen. With consistent training and patience, she will become a dream husky. There will be required training for her, as she was never properly crate trained and has moderate resource guarding. Which both can be rectified with proper training, dedication, and time. She is very playful with other dogs, and in true-husky-fashion, plays a little more actively than the average dog and very talkative. Kyra is also house broken and will ask and persist to go outside to get her deed done to not get in trouble. ✨️We are looking for a home that could give her forever, who understands the husky breed's needs and outlets to give Kyra her best chance!✨️ Kyra is very loveable and has been enjoying her sniffari walks around the high school campus on a 30 foot long-leash. Her recall to come back is impressive and does like the hide and seek game. She has shown neutrality and playfulness to our canine friend Beau as well! Sadly, she needs some dental surgery, which is making it more challenging for someone to adopt her. Please consider opening your heart and home to this beautiful girl!
