Will Cowie Memorial Fun Run

January 10th & 11th ~ Hill Village, NH

Classes being offered: 4 dog, 6 dog, 8 dog & 1-2 dog skijor  - 11 miles* each day.

SATURDAY ONLY - Geriatric class open for dogs 9 years or older, the class will be for 1-3 dogs, 1 mile. This class is free. Please e-mail me with your entry. I will have you sign a waver Saturday AM. corina@kianasiberians.com

Time: 8:30 - 9:AM check in.  9:15 Mandatory Drivers meeting. 10:AM start
NOTE, there is a change in the order of teams going out!

The 4 dog teams will go out first, followed by the 6 dog teams, then the 8 dog teams. If we get any skijor entries they will go out last.

Entries:  Pre-registration ONLY! We will not take any entries after Wednesday, you cannot change what class you are entered in after that day either.

Limited to 15 dog trucks for parking reasons.

The trail will not be closed to other users. It is recommended that one of the lead dogs wear an orange jacket or scarf.

Mandatory Gear: Each sled should have a working brake, snow hook & sled bag. To be carried on the person or in the sled: Fire starter, knife & working headlamp.

Volunteering:  We will need volunteers to make this race possible. We need 3 people at the turn around loop, people to help hold sleds at the start, and people to help get the teams to the start. Would you like to help out? If so please e-mail Corina for more info.

Prizes: We will have nice trophies this year for 1st - 4th. If you would like to donate something to go with a trophy please e-mail Corina.

Photographer: Barry Millman will be the official race photographer.

Directions: Take Exit 23 off Rte 93. Take Rte 104 West until you get to the center of Bristol. Turn left onto rte 3A south. Continue for approximately 2 miles. Look for Trailhead Parking sign on right and take next left onto Profile Falls Road. Drive straight on this road until you come to a parking lot.

*Due to logging the trail will be 11 miles each day instead of 12.5.
