Tundra Anastasia, CGC Tundra's new owner emailed us to proudly announce that "Tuns" recently passed her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) test, just a few months shy of 13 years old!! Who says an old dog can't learn new tricks?
Her new Mom wrote, "She came to us at age 11, after having spent most of her life tied to a tree outdoors. She's worked hard and come a long way since she adopted us 18 months ago, and I'm very proud of her. By the way, Kevin (4 yrs old) is Tundra's junior handler and will sometimes do the training in obedience class. He likes heeling and recalls. They both don't like long sits/downs, and by mutual consent will totally ignore those exercises!" Tundra and Pinky the kitty	Kevin and Tundra
Tundra recently celebrated her 13th birthday (August 2003) with a hike at Acadia National Park. Below and to the right are photos of Tuns at the summit of one of the trails, and afterwards in the car. She got salmon for supper that night!
