Neiko Neiko is a a very sweet and timid dog that came into our foster program from a shelter; we think he had been neglected and misunderstood by his previous owner. We placed him with a gentle family that has two young teenagers and a grandmother also living there. His owners wrote to us to say, "Things are going wonderfully. He's still afraid of his own shadow, but he seems to be happily settled here with us. He's gained about ten pounds since he came so you can no longer see his ribs. He's wonderful. Thank you so much!"
