Jaye rescued a husky in fall of 2001 and began volunteering for Patriot Siberian Rescue shortly afterwards, initially as their webmaster and later becoming Secretary of the organization. She became President of PSHR in 2010 and continues to be responsible for the website as well. Jaye has been involved in many aspects of the siberian husky since 2000, primarily in running and racing sleddogs, but also in breeding, obedience, agility, and showing. In addition to her duties for PSHR she is also Vice-President of the North Country Mushers Association in NH and a board member of New Hampshire Musher's Association, and runs her own web development company.

Whatleigh got her first siberian in 1999 and now owns Barking Brook Sled Dog Adventures in New Hampshire. Corina got her first Siberian Husky, Tika, in 1993. She and her husband Scott show their dogs in the conformation and obedience rings and also enjoy running mid-distance sleddog races. Other hobbies that they enjoy with their dogs include agility, tracking, skijoring and backpacking. Corina is an extremely accomplished trainer who has been involved with Rescue for many years as a volunteer and foster home, and was President of rescue from 2006 through 2010.
